Step-by-Step Ritual

  1. Park safely, open hood, locate battery
  2. Disconnect negative terminal first, then positive
  3. Remove hold-down bracket using extension bar
  4. Lift out old battery carefully
  5. Clean tray and terminals with baking soda paste
  6. Install new battery and secure bracket
  7. Reconnect positive terminal first, then negative
