• Daffodil 水仙花

Daffodil (Narcissus) is a genus of predominantly spring flowering perennial plants of the amaryllis family, Amaryllidaceae.

Daffodil has conspicuous flowers with six petal-like tepals surmounted by a cup- or trumpet-shaped corona. The flowers are generally white and yellow (also orange or pink in garden varieties), with either uniform or contrasting coloured tepals and corona.

To plant daffodil bulbs, you need to:

    1. Wait until the soil is cool, preferably 60 degrees Fahrenheit or colder.
    2. Pick a spot that has well-draining soil and gets full sun or partial shade.
    3. Dig over the soil and remove any weeds. Add some compost or manure if needed.
    4. Plant the bulbs with their pointy ends up, at a depth roughly three times their height.
    5. Plant the bulbs in groups of six to ten in a circular shape, spacing them 6-12 inches apart.
    6. Water well once and wait for spring.
    7. After the daffodils have bloomed, don’t cut off the foliage. Let it die back naturally.
